Gaspar Yanga, often regarded as the first liberator of the Americas, was an African-born leader who led one of the earliest and most successful revolts against slavery in the New World. Escaping bondage in 16th-century New Spain, Yanga and his followers established a free settlement in the mountains of Veracruz, defying colonial power and securing their liberty through courage and unity.

This handcrafted rum is inspired by that same indomitable spirit, a celebration of resilience, freedom, and the will to shape one’s own destiny.
History was made
On this side of the sea...

Each bottle honors Yanga’s legacy, carrying within it the strength of those who stood unbroken and the timeless essence of independence.
